We all love our coffee, but sometimes we just want a nice, refreshing, and fruity drink to get us through our day. Just like the never-ending range of coffee options that Starbucks has, they also have a fair share of beverages that can satisfy those refreshment cravings.
If you have a love for the mango flavor in particular, you’ll be delighted to know that there’s actually a good amount of mango drinks to choose from at Starbucks. Unfortunately, mango syrup is no longer carried at the global coffee chain, but that’s not the only way you can enjoy a nice mango treat!
Mango Drinks at Starbucks
So, without further ado, here’s a list that we put together of all the mango drinks at Starbucks and how to order the ones that aren’t exactly on the menu already.
Mango Dragonfruit Refresher
Maybe one of the most popular picks on the list is the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. The name itself tells you everything you need to know about how fruity and refreshing this drink is. It all starts with the specialty Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base.
This concentrated juice mix is where you’ll get a mango flavor in anything you create at Starbucks since they don’t have mango syrup anymore. In this beverage, it’s shaken up with water, ice, and real dried dragonfruit pieces to create an extremely delicious sip.
Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher
A twist on this already tasty drink is the Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher. This is made just like the original except there is an addition of tart lemonade in the mix.
The combination of the fruity tropical flavors and the tart citrus is perfect for those who want a truly refreshing experience.
Dragon Drink
You might think it can’t get any better, but there is yet another twist to the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. The Dragon Drink has a beautiful purple hue and is full of tropical flavors.
Instead of water, this beverage is made by shaking the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base, coconut milk, ice, and dried dragonfruit pieces. By pairing the coconut milk with the mango and dragonfruit flavors, you’ll feel like you’re in a tropical paradise!
Mango Black Tea
This next drink isn’t on the menu, but it used to be when Starbucks still had mango syrup. However, it can sort of be recreated today by simply ordering an Iced Black Tea and adding the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base to the mix.
If you like the taste of fruity tea, you won’t be disappointed by the sweet Mango Black Tea.
Strawberry Mango Refresher
A customer creation, the Strawberry Mango Refresher essentially combines two of the Refreshers that are already on the menu: the Strawberry Acai Refresher and the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher.
To order this, ask for a Strawberry Acai Refresher made with some of the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base. The blend of the fruit flavors complements each other rather than overpowers.
Strawberry Sunset Refresher
Want to make it even fruitier? Well, we’d recommend doing so by adding a third flavor to the bunch. The Strawberry Sunset Refresher also isn’t on the menu, but it really should be.
By asking for a Strawberry Acai Refresher and adding a bit of Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base as well as some Peach Juice, you’re in for a sweet and utterly refreshing treat.
Frozen Mango Smoothie
Maybe you’re someone who prefers blended drinks, in which case Starbucks still has you covered. The Frozen Mango Smoothie is a customer creation from back when there was still mango syrup, but you can still get yourself a mango-flavored smoothie.
Simply ask to get Dragon Drink blended! It’s your choice whether you want to keep the coconut milk or substitute it for another type. You can also have the dried dragonfruit pieces taken out if you don’t want the purple color, but that just makes it prettier!
Mango Frappuccino
The second frozen drink you can get at Starbucks is the Mango Frappuccino, which was again a customized drink with mango syrup. Honestly, though, this new version just may taste even better.
Order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with the addition of some Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base and even some dried dragonfruit pieces if you want the gorgeous color like the drink above. This is sweeter than the smoothie, though, and also has the Frappuccino Crème Base.
Organic Defense Up (Evolution Fresh)
The rest of the options on our list are actually bottled drinks that are available in the Grab-and-Go section of Starbucks. The Organic Defense Up (Evolution Fresh) is labeled as a refreshing detox smoothie that has mangos, oranges, pineapples, apples, and acerola cherries.
It doesn’t have any added sugars or flavors so it’s definitely a healthy pick that’s also caffeine-free, which means it’s perfect for kiddos!
Organic Superfruit Greens (Evolution Fresh)
This bottled drink, the Organic Superfruit Greens (Evolution Fresh), is more of a cold-pressed juice that is full of mango puree, spinach, spirulina, chlorella, and Vitamin C. It might not sound the most appetizing, but it’s actually pretty sweet and delicious!
Once again, this doesn’t have any added sugars or flavors and is a caffeine-free pick that is really just a great way to get your organic superfoods in.
Organic Vital Berry (Evolution Fresh)
Last on our list is the Organic Vital Berry (Evolution Fresh). This is another smoothie full of fruits, including berries, oranges, and mangos. No artificial sweeteners/flavors here, just a sweet and tasty caffeine-free drink!
