When that hot summer weather hits, people flock to places that serve some pretty tasty seasonal beverages. Starbucks is definitely at the top of the list for scrumptious and refreshing summer drinks.
Plus, most summers, Starbucks will even introduce something new to their menu to really drive people to their stores. That’s why we’ve crafted a list of the new Starbucks summer drink additions as well as classic choices that are perfect to help beat the heat.
Summer 2023 Starbucks Drinks
At the top of our list are the seasonal drinks that are fresh to the Starbucks menu for the summer of 2023. We have to say that this year, Starbucks has come out with some pretty delicious and refreshing options.
Frozen Strawberry Acai Lemonade
While blended lemonade may not be entirely new to Starbucks, considering you can order the Blended Strawberry Lemonade year-round, this Frozen Strawberry Acai Lemonade is definitely different.
By blending the Strawberry Acai Refresher base with lemonade, dried strawberry fruit pieces, and strawberry puree, you’re presented with a drink that’s sweet, tart, and refreshing.
Frozen Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade
Starbucks decided to make this frozen lemonade option available for all of their Refresher beverages, so you can also get the Frozen Pineapple Passionfruit Lemonade.
This one has the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher base, lemonade, dried diced pineapple pieces, and strawberry puree blended together for a tropical and delicious treat.
Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade
The last new frozen Starbucks Refreshers option is the Frozen Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade. This may be one of the most gorgeous choices on the new Starbucks menu.
A blended drink made with the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base, lemonade, dried dragonfruit pieces, and strawberry puree, this is a sweet and exotic refreshment.
Chocolate Java Mint Frappuccino
The final new addition isn’t a Refresher, but rather a decadent Frappuccino. The Chocolate Java Mint Frappuccino is another blended beverage made with a special White Chocolate Mint Sauce, java chips, and mocha drizzle, and topped off with whipped cream and some chocolate cookie mint sprinkles.
This frozen drink is reminiscent of mint chocolate chip ice cream, perfect for a summer treat to beat the hot weather.

Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew
The Cinnamon Caramel Cream Cold Brew is actually another newer drink to the Starbucks menu, as it was released during the spring of 2023. However, it’s stuck around for good reason!
Reminiscent of a cinnamon roll, this sip is made by adding their new Cinnamon Caramel syrup to a cup of cold brew and topping it off with Cinnamon Sweet Cream Cold Foam that is then dusted with some tasty Cinnamon Dolce sprinkles.
Chocolate Cream Cold Brew
Another Starbucks cold brew option that’s perfect for summer is the Chocolate Cream Cold Brew which is simply a cold brew paired with some vanilla syrup and has a delicious Chocolate Cream Cold Foam on top. It’s decadent, chocolatey, sweet, and energizing all in one.
Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew
The last cold brew on our list is the classic Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew. There’s a reason this drink is one of the most frequently ordered at Starbucks. It’s simple, sweet, and refreshing.
A cold brew made with vanilla and vanilla sweet cream, you truly can’t go wrong with this order if you need a quick and cool pick-me-up.
Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
This next coffee beverage is a stronger option, but all of Starbucks’ Shaken Espresso options are a quick and delicious way to get some much-needed caffeine. The Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is probably the most popular one on their menu.
With shots of Starbucks blonde espresso shaken in ice, brown sugar syrup, and cinnamon powder, and finished off with a touch of oat milk, you get a yummy and refreshing kick to your day.
Iced Caramel Macchiato
Maybe the most well-known Starbucks drink is the Iced Caramel Macchiato. It’s sweet, creamy, strong, and overall delicious.
This drink is made by layering vanilla syrup, milk, and ice before adding the espresso shots on top and drizzling some decadent caramel sauce for a nice final addition. If you’re choosing coffee as your summer beverage, you can’t skip this one!
Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino

Strawberry Crème Frappuccino
The Strawberry Crème Frappuccino is our last blended option on the list and, while this one doesn’t have any coffee, it’s certainly a scrumptious frozen treat.
By blending milk, classic syrup, ice, and strawberry puree, you get a fruity and delicious drink that’s perfect for any summer day. Plus, you also get an extra swirl of strawberry puree around the cup and a nice layer of whipped cream on top.
Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade
There are many tea customization options that we could have listed here, but one we definitely couldn’t go without is the Iced Peach Green Tea Lemonade.
Starbucks takes its classic iced green tea and adds in some of its citrusy lemonade and sweet peach juice. Together, these ingredients give you a truly refreshing and delicious drink.
Iced Passion Tango Tea Lemonade
One other tea option we wanted to include is the Iced Passion Tango Tea Lemonade. The Passion Tango Tea is great on its own, but when shaken with lemonade, the flavors are enhanced.
Not only is this a tasty beverage, but it’s also got a beautiful and vibrant color to it that perfectly depicts a fun summer vibe!
Matcha Lemonade
Speaking of vibrant drinks, Starbucks Matcha Lemonade is a beverage that’s often overlooked. However, this delicious and refreshing drink is one that shouldn’t be missed, especially during the summer season!
This is a shaken drink of matcha green tea powder, lemonade, and ice to create a sweet green drink full of natural energy and yummy citrus.
Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher
Continuing with the gorgeous beverages, we move on to all of the Refreshers that Starbucks has to offer. The Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher cannot be denied as a true summer drink with its tropical flavors and bright yellow hue.
This drink takes the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher base and shakes it up with some ice and freeze-dried pineapple pieces to give you a drink perfect for a beach day. Plus, with Refresher drinks from Starbucks, they even have the option to add lemonade for an extra touch of tasty!
Paradise Drink
Another thing you can customize this drink with is coconut milk, which is how the Paradise Drink is created. By making the Pineapple Passionfruit Refresher with coconut milk, you can get a truly tropical and creamy beverage featuring dried pineapple pieces.
Of course, you can always opt to take the real fruit pieces out of any Starbucks Refresher drinks.
Strawberry Acai Refresher
Maybe the most popular of the Starbucks Refreshers beverages is the Strawberry Acai Refresher, which is inarguably a tasty, sweet, and excellent creation.
This is another stunning summer refreshment that’s shaken with the Strawberry Acai Refresher base, ice, and freeze-dried strawberry pieces. Again, you can also add lemonade to this drink which may just be another super popular choice.
Pink Drink
Out of all the coconut milk creations from the Refresher section of the Starbucks menu, the Pink Drink is a famed selection. For good reason, too, as the creamy coconut milk is a nice addition to the sweet strawberry flavor.
Much like the previous drinks, this is shaken with the Strawberry Acai Refresher base, coconut milk ice, and dried strawberry pieces. You end up with a beautiful pastel pink drink that’s perfect for summer photo ops!
Mango Dragonfruit Refresher
The last Refresher on our list is the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher, which is another stunning drink that features a bright purple color.
By shaking together the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher base, ice, and freeze-dried dragonfruit pieces, you get a truly fruity, sweet, and refreshing drink.
Dragon Drink
Finally, we end with the Dragon Drink, which is the coconut milk version of the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher. Beautiful, sweet, and delicious, you can’t go wrong with this or any of the Starbucks Refresher options.
